Yellowstone National Park was the first National Park created in the WORLD in 1872. Known for its wildlife and the infamous Old Faithful geyser, this is one of those places everyone needs to tick off their bucket list.

It stretches into parts of Idaho, Wyoming and Montana - the great Wild West, with buffalo who truly roam and it really is home on the range. Covering almost 3,500 miles of area Yellowstone is brimming with mountains, rivers, lakes, canyons and calderas. It is home to grizzly bears, wolves, elk, and bison and contains the United States' largest public roaming herd, which is super rad. Bison weigh up to 2,000 lbs and run up to 40 mph, which is pretty fast for such a huge beast.  When visiting the park you'll see signs everywhere about taking precautions when approaching the bison, because they can sprint and charge without any warning and you'd be one poor sucker if you were taking that #bisonselfie (guilty) when they decide enough is enough.

  3. Amazing pictures! Yellowstone is one of the coolest places I've ever been! The bison seem so nice and friendly, but I'm definitely not going to take my chances with a selfie :)
