As Meg mentioned in a previous post, we recently took a nice fishing trip together and had way too much fun to be considered working. We packed the Vanagon full of gear and hit the road and drove about 1,000 miles and 15 hours worth of adventuring in one giant awesome loop, which rightfully so included Yellowstone. Traveling during the peak season of autumn is always a treat, seeing the leaves turn and feeling the shift in weather feels like a gift. Idaho always treats us well on trips like these, and fishing old rivers we used to frequent as college students was a special bonus.
Destination: Eastern Idaho & Sawtooth Mountains / Activity: Fishing and Fun-Having
So often people might hear the word "fishing" and their mind immediately visualizes Grandpa Jack with his vest filled with flies and his brimmed cap atop his bald head, with a line in the water. We're here to say that chicks dig this stuff too, and we love to fish. It's not about age, gender or anything else - it's about getting outside and enjoying nature and really getting to know the land, wildlife, and habitats we are so blessed to call home. Tenkara fishing is not too intimidating. We think you'll dig it, too.
