We really should leave this post up to Lisa, our queen sheller. She loves nothing more than swimming in the waves with her little mermaid net. She demanded we go to a beach where she could go shelling, so Spooners Cove it was!

Spooners Cove is located in Los Osos about 20 minutes away from Morro Bay. It is known for its beautiful beach and for finding cool rocks and shells. There are plenty of parking spots available, fun rocks to climb on, picnic tables, a bathroom, and even a campsite nearby. It's usually pretty quiet and peaceful. Although that's not why Kylie fell asleep. She actually just isn't that into shelling. She was a good sport anyway and took a little nap while Lisa and I kept digging for treasures.

Spooners Cove is definitely worth a visit for some good relaxing and beach combing!
