SNOW IN ARIZONA

Bet you didn't know it snowed in Arizona, nowdidya?! I sure didn't! I married an Arizona boy and when we were home for Christmas we went up to Pinedale, Arizona (about 2.5 hr from Phoenix) and hung out on the Mogollon Rim (about 1.5 hr from Phoenix). You should check it out next time you're in Arizona, and especially during the winter months if you're craving a bit of snowfall. The mountains are gorgeous up there, and you get to drive through beautiful canyons overlooking miles and miles of desert that slowly turns into forest. It really is pretty magical to experience the snow fall in a desert-ridden state. You're also not too far from Sunrise Park Resort where you can hit the slopes for some skiing while you're at it.
