Oatmeal Cinnamon Pancakes

These are delicious let me tell you. They are filling and fluffy and moist. I like thick pancakes, so if you do too then this is the right recipe for you! And you can easily add fruit or chocolate chips to the batter for even more yumminess. But if you add fruit i may leave out the cinnamon. Improvise and make it your own! Enjoy a yummy breakfast, you deserve it.

Ingredients

1 and 3/4 cup whole wheat flour
2 tablespoons of sugar
2 teaspoons of baking powder
3/4 teaspoon of salt
1 tablespoon cinnamon
1 cup cooked oatmeal
3 tablespoons of melted butter
1 large egg
1 cup of milk
1 teaspoon vanilla

Directions

Combine dry ingredients in large bowl: whole wheat flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt
Combine wet ingredients in small bowl: melted butter, egg, milk, vanilla, oatmeal
Combine the wet ingredients into large bowl with dry ingredients
Mix well
Serve with 1/4 cup measurement into saucepan over medium-low heat
Top with syrup, powdered sugar, or berries

Should make around 15 small pancakes or 8 large pancakes
Enjoy!
