A typical Nicaraguan meal, pinto y gallo, contains a mix of rice and beans with a warm tortilla and huevos all served up hot and steaming on a fresh banana leat. It cost just under $3 and is served at tiendas on the street and at any restaurant. I have a sweet tooth over savory for my morning meal, but this is a close second.
