remember when we told you all about our top 3 piers in LA?
when lisa came to visit me in LA we decided to hit up santa monica,
and we had a picnic on the beach and plenty of people watching.
if you're ever visiting LA, you really need to plan your days out.
we are notorious for having the worst ever traffic, and for good reason.
lisa and i spent one hour on sunset boulevard coming home from santa monica.
we drove ONE MILE in ONE HOUR... it was that bad. i'm still figuring this out
so obviously i hit a few bumps but we toughed it out together and survived!
when you plan your visit, definitely check out LACMA by visiting this site here.
you can purchase your tickets online for $15, or just prance around the grounds for free.
the light post assemblage sculpture is called urban light and consists of just over 200
street lamps collected from the 1920s-1930s in southern california.
they are solar powered and switch on at dusk, which is really cool.
LACMA hosts one of the most significant art collections in the world, and the grounds itself
is impeccable. filled with contemporary art and exhibits from various cultural time periods
you're in for a treat. there are several awesome restaurants nearby on wilshire boulevard,
among our favorite is the delicious canters deli, open 24 hours a day serving the BEST sandwiches.
make the best of your visit to LA and create a list of all the places you want to see!
