Rich in colonial heritage, Granada is one of Nicaragua's most important cities bordering the largest lake in Central America, Lake Nicaragua. The streets in Granada are super narrow, often times only allowing one-way traffic. Calle le Calzada is the main drag in the city spread with various cuisine options and friendly hostels and places to stay. There's a lively crowd here at night - so if you're looking for entertainment and a place to stay up late and party, then this is a great place to visit. The colors alone are reason enough to come to this beautiful city.
