Banana Chocolate Chip Bread

Country of Origin: United States of America

Did you know banana bread exploded with popularity in the 1960s when home baking revived? It first became popular in the 1930s when it was featured in Pillsbury's Cook Book and originated in the 18th century by housewives experimenting in the kitchen! Who knew?!


Ingredients:

1 cup sugar
1/2 cup oil
2 eggs
2 bananas
1 1/2 cup flour
1 tsp. baking soda
Pinch of salt
1 cup chocolate chips


Directions:

Preheat oven to 400 degrees
Mix dry ingredients in a medium size bowl 
Slowly add the oil, eggs, and smashed bananas and mix well
Mix in the chocolate chips
Pour mixture into a bread pan
Sprinkle a little bit of sugar on top 
Cook for 50 minutes or until middle is not doughy


This recipe is good for one loaf! YUMMMMMMY!
